Terminology
Appearance
A glossary of the slang used across this wiki and the wider dating-advice and Red Pill community. Terms are explained the way the community uses them. Where a page on this wiki covers the idea in depth, it's linked.
Core ideas
- Alpha
- Behaviour that signals leadership, confidence and high value. Usually describes individual behaviours rather than a fixed type of man. See The difference between Alpha and Beta.
- Beta
- Behaviour centred on providing (resources, comfort, validation). Valued in the right amount and at the right time, but seen as low-value when given too early or too freely.
- Frame

- Game
- The set of learnable behaviours used to create attraction. Inner game is mindset; outer game is what you say and do. See Inner Game, The Hierarchy of Game.
- Hypergamy
- The idea that women instinctively look for the highest-value partner available and keep checking whether their current partner still measures up. See Briffault's Law.

- SMV / SMP
- Sexual market value (what you bring to the table) and the sexual marketplace (dating seen as a market).
