Briffault's Law

From Alpha Up Wiki

Briffault's Law comes from anthropologist Robert Briffault's The Mothers (1927), and is widely quoted in Red Pill circles:

The female, not the male, determines all the conditions of the animal family. Where the female can derive no benefit from association with the male, no such association takes place.

The corollaries

A popular forum post added three corollaries:

  1. Past benefits don't guarantee a future relationship. What he provided before doesn't secure tomorrow.
  2. A deal where he gives a benefit now in return for a promise later is void once he's delivered. After the benefit is given, the promise carries little weight.
  3. A promise of future benefit has limited pull. The further away the benefit, the weaker it is, and it depends on how much she trusts him.
