Healthy LTR
One Red Pill author's criteria for choosing a partner for a long-term relationship (LTR) that lasts.
Looks
The author's "sweet spot" is very attractive but not supermodel-level. In his view, the most strikingly beautiful women get so much male attention that it's hard to compete with, and often have very high expectations. He thinks you can do better than settling for someone you're not attracted to.
Personality
His view: introverts are a safer bet than extroverts.
- Extroverts may thrive on attention, love going out in groups, have big social-media followings and lots of male "friends", which gives more opportunities to stray. Fine if you're socially dominant yourself.
- Introverts tend to go out less, attract less outside attention and are less likely to pursue other men.
Family
Women from close families, with a good relationship with their father, tend (he argues) to bring fewer problems into a relationship. Look out for unresolved trauma.
Work and money
Choose someone with her own job who can support herself. If you earn similar amounts and split costs early on, she's less likely to see you as a wallet, and you avoid becoming her sole provider.
Sexual history
The author prefers a lower partner count, arguing that a long party phase often brings problems into LTRs, and that this tends to go with the extroverted personality above.
