12 Irresistible Traits Women Crave
A list of "bad boy" traits said to trigger desire, based on the Red Pill idea of a woman's dual sexual strategy.
The idea
In this model, a woman sorts men into two broad roles:
- The exciting lover: gives her danger, adventure and thrills (the "desire path").
- The reliable provider: gives her comfort and protection (the "love path").
The traits below push you toward the first. Her tests (see Common Shit Tests) are often checking which one you are. The author, a married man, says these still worked for him within marriage.
The 12 traits
- Confidence: bold and sure of yourself rather than meek.
- Directness: say what you think and want, without tiptoeing.
- Dominance: command respect socially, intellectually, emotionally and physically, instead of acting subservient (see Guide to Dominance).
- Indifference: less reactive, not worried what others think, not a try-hard.
- Entitlement: feel free to go after what you want.
- Excitement: take risks and live an interesting life.
- Freedom: an independent, slightly rebellious attitude rather than conformity.
- Leadership: set goals and lead yourself and others toward them.
- Masculinity: a grounded, controlled manner.
- An edge: not completely "safe" or harmless.
- Mystery and unpredictability: contrasting qualities that make her curious.
- Teasing: playful provocation instead of constantly trying to put her at ease (see Cocky Comedy).
Why it works, according to the author
These traits signal power and status. Too much smiling, constant attention and perfect politeness signal the "provider" role and can kill excitement. In his phrasing, the cowboy in black is more exciting than the one in white. The good guy is comforting but can be dull.
