Desire for sex vs desperation

From Alpha Up Wiki

There's a fine line between showing desire, which is attractive, and showing desperation, which isn't. This page draws the line clearly.

Definitions

  • Desire: openly and unapologetically showing that you're attracted to her.
  • Desperation: changing the course of your life for one particular woman.

Desire shows confidence and a healthy sex drive. Desperation makes you look easy to use.

Examples

Desire (good):

  • Holding eye contact with someone you find attractive.
  • Complimenting something about her you genuinely can't stop noticing.
  • Sitting relaxed and open once you're talking.
  • Natural touch, like a hand on the back to guide her.

Desperation (bad), from mild to worst:

  • Buying her drinks or snacks: a minor foul.
  • Driving her around when she doesn't need it.
  • Giving up hours so she can vent to you.
  • Expensive gifts when you're "just friends": the worst place to be.

The rule

Forums often say contradictory things: "own your desire" but "be outcome independent"; "approach confidently" but "don't be a slave to women". The line between them comes down to four words: don't sacrifice for her.

General self-improvement (training, a better wardrobe) doesn't count as sacrifice. It improves your whole life, not just your chances with one woman.
