What If All Men Had $10,000 And Women Got It By Sex

From Alpha Up Wiki

A thought experiment from a seduction video, meant to show men how strong the average man's desire for sex is, and why neediness gives women so much leverage.

The thought experiment

Imagine every man carried $10,000 in cash, and any woman who slept with him got to keep it. Then:

  • Women would chase men in the street, and would study seduction and male psychology to win them over.
  • Women would pretend they weren't really interested in the money, only the man.
  • Men would constantly wonder: "Does she like me, or does she just want the $10,000? Will she leave once she has it?" They'd complain that every woman is just after the money.

The author's claim is that this is roughly how much the average man wants sex, and roughly the position many women are in with men.

The twist

In the story, a man who has built a successful life stops caring about the $10,000. He knows he's worth far more than the cash, and hands it over without a second thought. The author's point: a man's value has no ceiling, because he can keep building it through achievement, skills and character. He argues a woman's attractiveness is often reduced to her sexual appeal, which is why many women wonder whether a man is "only after one thing".

The lesson for men

Neediness and pretence inflate the perceived value of sex. Men who build lives they're proud of stop treating access to women as the prize, and behave with far more confidence.
